EIM™ Gua Sha Professional Diplomas
A 12-month mentored programme for practitioners ready to specialise in facial or therapeutic Gua sha
Move beyond technique-based certification through advanced study, supervised practice and direct mentorship with Clive Witham. The EIM™ Professional Diploma combines weekly online study, monthly live supervision, applied casework and hands-on immersion. It is the highest level of Ecology in Motion™ training offered by Komorebi Institute.
› Integrative Facial or Integrative Therapeutic track
› Approximately 3–5 hours of study and practice each week
› Online study with live monthly supervision
› Four-day hands-on immersion
› Application required
› Places limited
The application takes approximately seven minutes. No payment is required to apply.

Why Continue Beyond Certification?
Certification establishes the technical foundation. Professional competence develops through repeated practice, feedback, case discussion and the opportunity to apply new ideas with real clients. The EIM™ Professional Diploma has been designed around that principle.
During the programme, you will examine the relationships that influence facial and body presentations, apply the EIM™ framework to your own client work and receive guidance as your understanding develops.
The aim is not to collect more techniques. It is to become more precise, adaptable and confident in the way you use the techniques you already have.
What You Will Develop
By the end of the programme, successful students should be able to:
› Assess clients using the Ecology in Motion™ framework
› Identify appropriate priorities within their professional scope
› Explain the reasoning behind an EIM™ treatment plan
› Adapt techniques to individual presentations
› Apply the Gua sha spoon with greater physical precision
› Plan and review a multi-session course of work
› Evaluate client responses and adjust subsequent sessions
› Recognise limitations and refer when appropriate
› Communicate their specialist work more clearly
Choose Your Diploma Track
Both tracks share a common academic foundation before separating into specialist study.

The Integrative Therapeutic track focuses on:

How the Diploma Works
The Diploma brings together three forms of learning.
1. Online Foundation
You receive lifetime access to the EIM™ online foundation course corresponding to your chosen track. The online course provides a permanent reference for the technical foundations of EIM™ Gua sha and prepares new students for the live immersion and advanced academic work.
2. Four-Day Live Immersion
The live immersion develops the physical skills that cannot be properly assessed through online study alone. Approximately 75% of the immersion is hands-on. You receive real-time correction of:
☑ Practitioner position
☑ Touch and pressure
☑ Spoon angle
☑ Direction and pace
☑ Treatment transitions
☑ Safe and efficient body mechanics
Students who have already completed eligible EIM™ live training in the same track may receive an exemption and an alumni tuition adjustment.
3. Mentored Academic Study
Weekly lessons and monthly supervision develop the reasoning needed to apply EIM™ principles to real professional work. You study independently, apply the material in practice and bring questions and cases to the monthly supervision sessions. All monthly sessions are recorded.
What a Typical Month Looks Like
Each month includes:
☑ Weekly recorded lessons
☑ Directed reading, observation or reflection
☑ Practical application
☑ Case notes or other assignments
☑ Discussion with your specialist cohort
☑ Opportunities to submit questions
☑ One live supervision session with Clive
☑ Access to the supervision recording
The programme is structured for practising professionals. Most students should allow approximately 3–5 hours each week for lessons, practice and casework.
