Course content

What you will study.

The modules are designed to develop practical treatment skills, not simply a collection of isolated techniques.

Module I · Structural Fundamentals

Establish the foundations.

Develop clear, repeatable treatment skills with an understanding of relationships between the face and surrounding structures.

  • Observation and initial treatment decisions
  • Working with the neck, scalp, jaw, and face
  • Tool handling, ergonomics, and precise contact
  • A structured practical facial sequence
Module II · Systemic Integration

Work with greater complexity.

Deepen your understanding of facial patterns and learn to adapt techniques to the individual rather than following a sequence mechanically.

  • More detailed orbital, brow, and jaw work
  • Relationships across facial regions and the wider body
  • Assessment, treatment adjustment, and reassessment
  • Integrating advanced work into a complete treatment
Modules I + II · Four days

Bring both stages together.

The combined course includes the full content of Modules I and II, progressing from core techniques to integrated professional application.

  • Four consecutive days of practical learning
  • Foundations and systemic integration together
  • Supervised practice and individual correction
  • Complete Facial Gua Sha certification pathway
Module III · Advanced Facial Integration

Adapt to the individual.

Work more precisely with complex presentations and learn when a lighter, slower, or modified approach is appropriate.

  • Reactive skin, rosacea, and vascular sensitivity
  • Acne, recurrent breakouts, and tissue texture
  • Scalp and hair concerns, including treatment considerations
  • Weighted touch, minimal-drag techniques, and dosage

Who can attend? These are professional courses for practitioners in relevant healthcare, bodywork, beauty, and wellness fields. Module II assumes prior foundational training. Module III requires completion of in-person Modules I and II, or equivalent previous live certification; online-only study does not meet that prerequisite.

Certification and CE: Course-specific certificates and any applicable continuing education hours are identified in the individual class information. The complete four-day I + II training has previously been offered with 32 NCBTMB-approved hours in the United States; confirm approval for the particular event before enrolling.
