EIM™ Gua sha is a completely natural and holistic approach to modern facial treatment, with a realistic and practical view that puts modern beauty treatments in a new body-wide context, allowing you to maximize results and achieve deeper transformation.
Gua sha is not a simple skin treatment, muscle tonifier, or lymphatic drainage techinque. It is a tissue treatment that induces circulatory, chemical, nervous, and structural change in the biological fabric of your body.
By leveraging this knowledge, we can target specific areas of the face by treating the body.
Whether you're looking for an addition to existing treatments, or a stand-alone powerhouse with the ability to affect health and beauty, EIM™ Gua sha is the perfect solution.

What you see are NOT bruises or signs of damage—what you see is LIBERATION. It’s a visible reflection of internal blockages and sluggish blood circulation that hinder nutrient delivery and waste removal.
It is the natural release of stagnant red blood cells when impaired tissue is exposed to dynamic pressure.
So yes, Gua sha on the body leaves temporary marks, but those marks are a sign of powerful, deeper healing that leads to glowing, youthful facial complextion.

So this is probably what you think of when someone mentions Facial Gua sha…
But I’m here to tell you that THIS is a much more accurate depiction of what Facial Gua sha looks like.
And THIS is what we use to understand what is happening.
The first photos feature women holding Gua sha tools. They're held in random positions on flawless, makeup-enhanced skin. The photos are clearly edited for maximum visual appeal. The sole focus is selling you a mass-produced tool. They give no thought to proper technique or therapeutic benefit.
The second photos show a treatment that deeply affects the human body and face.
It may look like these women have been in an accident, but it doesn't hurt at all! The marks you see are not bruises, or a sign of pain or damage. They are just red blood cells that have been released into the tissue beneath the skin.
And rest assured, we would never do this to your face! (I'll teach you exactly how to treat the face gently)
Because Facial Gua sha isn't just about the face – it's ALL about blood flow.
Think of your cardiovascular system as a network of rivers that nourishes every part of your face. If those rivers are blocked or constricted, say in your neck, back, or chest, what do you think happens?
Most people don't know this, but Gua sha's health uses are much older than its facial ones. They are hundreds of years older - and through health is actually how I discovered Gua sha and why I know exactly how profound and effective it is.

Founder of the Komorebi Institute
The first thing you should know is that Gua sha is more than a trend for me; it's my life's work, spanning over three decades and culminating in the authorship of 5 books on Gua sha and Chinese medicine translated into 6 languages. My passion for Gua sha began with treating my two sons when they were just toddlers (they're now grown men). It has since extended to thousands worldwide, including through a non-profit Gua sha education program we established in Sri Lanka.
As a Licensed Acupuncturist and Health Promotion Specialist (MS), my journey has been unconventional. It started with a degree in International Development & Economics and early experiences in rehabilitation programs in Uganda.
My path then led me to the remote Japanese island of Yakushima, where I immersed myself in nature's wonders, setting the foundation for my unique approach to Gua sha.
This was followed by a decade in North Africa, where I established and ran a chronic illness clinic, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in Gua sha's applications.
Now based in a serene Spanish forest, I have distilled my diverse experiences and knowledge into a revolutionary new approach: Ecology in Motion™ Gua sha. This innovative method seamlessly blends traditional Chinese medicine, modern anatomy, and natural science.
My promise to you is this: the knowledge and skills you'll gain in my courses go beyond anything you've ever encountered in other Gua sha courses.
"It will change your world and the world of your clients. So, ladies, come and get it!"
"My entire practice has changed for the better."
"Honestly, the best course I've ever taken, um, probably in my career of 15 years. So thank you so much."
